Why Grower’s Best Organics Is Different
Not all compost is created with the same goal in mind.
Many large composting operations are designed primarily to process waste streams, with compost being the byproduct of that system. While those operations play an important role in keeping organic materials out of landfills, our approach is different.

Our Composting Process
Our compost is produced using a carefully managed multi-stage composting process designed to support living soil.
We begin with clean compostable farm materials and community food waste that are inspected to remove contaminants. Materials go through a solar-assisted conditioning phase before entering an active composting cycle where microbial life breaks down organic matter and stabilizes nutrients.
During the process we incorporate natural minerals that help improve nutrient retention and support cation exchange capacity (CEC), allowing soil to attract and hold essential plant nutrients.
As the compost matures, beneficial microbial communities and fungal networks develop naturally, helping create a biologically rich finished product that supports the soil food web.
